We are very passionate about giving back to the communities in which we do business. We believe that it is our responsibility to help build our communities, not only through our sustainable development activities, but also through the support of well-researched charitable organizations. We carefully evaluate each organization to ensure that our resources are spent in areas that will truly impact the quality of life for those in our communities.

The Carrington Foundation
Glenn Carrington established Glenn Carrington & Co. in Alaska in 1915. He was a businessman in Seattle and Alaska, was instrumental in founding the Pacific Northwest Trade Association, and wrote a book titled Eighty Years in Alaska and Seattle. His children, Rogers Carrington , Dona Carrington Goudsmit, and Doris Carrington, established this scholarship in his memory to assist rural Alaska students attending The University of Alaska, Fairbanks who plan to return to their origins and strengthen their local communities. This fund also helps support Children Singing Peace Around the World, Helping Hands, and The Destiny Arts Center.

Transplants for Children
Transplants for Children is dedicated to assisting young organ and tissue transplant recipients and their families in effectively coping with the emotional, financial, and social challenges which arise before, during, and after transplantation.

Child Improvement Through Therapy (CITT): The Megan McCord Fund
This fund was created in honor of Megan McCord, a delightful ray of sweetness and light who lost her life in 2003 at the age of twelve. Her parents requested that all donations in Megan�s memory be given to CITT. And so was born the Megan McCord Fund. One hundred percent of all funds donated to the Megan McCord Fund are specifically designated towards the cost of providing therapy for a child with special needs.

We also support the following organizations:  Last Chance for Animals, The Humane Society, SPCA, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, American Humane Association, LES (Hurricane Katrina Project), Buckner Children�s Home Dallas, Carrollton Animal Shelter, and the Arizona-based Wickenburg Country Club, Parker Rotary Club, Wickenburg High School, and The Animal Relief Fund of Parker.
